WISHES

I wish you a healing voyage through the rainbow.
The thousand colors of hope.
A myriad of blessings.
I wish you a quiet awakening to the many splendors
that your heart beholds.
The true gift of your soul.
May you abandon worry’s cowardly disguise,
and remember the many faces
of your deepest longings.
May you grasp the sureness of the moment,
and taste the divine freedom
of living without fear.
Let your spirit soar high above life’s limitations.
You are your own inspiration,
your own guide.
Let love’s light wash away the old patterns.
Stand, peaceful, in God’s presence,
and meet the promise of each day.

Just beautiful Maryse. And so timely for me. I am going for surgery next week and they’ve found an abnormality on my EKG. But worry is useless and an old pattern, as your beautiful poem identifies so well. And each day is a gift regardless of this news. This poem feels like a blessing to me. Love ya sweetie! Keep writing. – Linda

Thank you for this gift of poetry, Maryse. I love the notion of abandoning “worry’s cowardly disguise.” I had a rough sleep last night — caused by worry — but this poem will help me toss away that mask today.
